The Cavallo Cowgirls is a mixed equestrian drill team consisting of young ladies who love the sport of Drill. These girls are passionate about this sport and spend countless hours practicing and collaborating on creative drill maneuvers. Beyond drill, each team member has their own horse that they love and take care of in order to compete.
The Cavallo Cowgirls are supported through donations and sponsorship from various sponsors that have contributed to the team since its inception . The team also actively participate in fundraising efforts in order to facilitate their participation in various events throughout the year. The ladies would like to thank their coaches Shauna Ketcham and Samantha Turner who have been amazing encouragers and have helped foster their deep love for competitive riding. They are also very appreciative of their family support base, without which none of this would be possible.

The Cavallo Cowgirls Drill Team was founded in January of 2016 and is a sisterhood of talented horsewoman delivering precise, fast paced performances to music at various drill team competitions. The team consists of skilled riders who perform at shows, rodeos, and parades throughout the season. They have a desire to build a team that continues to perfect their abilities and grow within the sport they love.
The specific purpose of this not for profit organization is to encourage interest in horses and horsemanship through proper training of equitation and drill maneuvers. It is formally organized exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Internal Revenue Code 501(c) 3 of the United States Internal Revenue Law. Teamwork, leadership skills, and standards of excellence are our guiding principles. We provide a program of positive influence that assists each individual in achieving their highest riding potential.
