Soheyl (Sean) Sharifnejad - has two children, son Jordan and daughter Teaghen. His daughter Teaghen has been riding for 11 years and involved in equestrian drill for 9 years, 8 of which has been with the Cavallo Cowgirls. As a 24 year veteran and leader in the technology sector in Silicon Valley, Soheyl understands the value of having a team that is committed, driven and enjoys what they do. He not only sees these attributes in the Cavallo Cowgirls' riders, but cherishes the fact that "every team member" from rider to coach to grand parent demonstrate them when the Cavallo Cowgirls are together doing what they love. As a parent on the team, Soheyl has watched and fostered the growth of each rider regardless of their skill level. He believes that each team member (whether on a horse or not) contributes to the success of the team in their own capacity, which is why he proudly wears a "Poo Crew" team shirt, and actively holds the position of "assistant" to the assistant coach of the team.
Shelley Jetton-Hoff - is a married mother of 2, with 4 bonus children. She's very proud of her daughter Sophia ("Pie") for being a Cavallo Cowgirl for 6 years now.
Shelley is a 22 year veteran of the high tech and commercial interior design industries, and is currently a Sr. Project Manager. She has been a member of the Pleasanton Football's book club since 2019 and is actively involved in all of her children's extra curricular activities.
Shelley is also an avid horse enthusiast, is an AQHA member, and has owned horses for 20 years, some of which she has competed with and won several ribbons in long distance trail riding. She is never too far from her animals, whether being with her horses at the ranch, with her chickens in her urban back yard, or fishing with the family where she proudly holds the family record for the largest bass caught. She's a firm believer that everyone can benefit from riding or simply being around horses in some way or another.
Kristy Lyons - Is very proud of her 2 children, Alison (Ali) and William. When she is not with her daughter and their horse, Blu, she can be found at the baseball field with her son. She grew up in the very rural San Antonio Valley near Mt. Hamilton and even though she grew up with horses, this is a whole new world for her. She has worked in the alarm industry for over 20 years and is possibly living vicariously through her daughter.
“My daughter and I have watched this team from the sidelines since they started in 2016 and we are so proud to now be a part of the team. I am so grateful that my daughter has these great girls and coaches to look up to and we have the support and knowledge of the entire Cavallo Cowgirls family behind us. This is our 3rd year with the team, we love getting together with everyone every Sunday and we look forward to finally getting to compete.”
Laury Ketcham - is a seasoned finance professional with over 20 years of experience in various financial roles and levels of responsibility over multiple industries. She has been in the equine world for over 20 years as well where she has owned and showed horses in various events.
